In scene one, two servants from Caplet and Montage family (Samson and Gregory) met and had a conflict. They were very hostile to each other. This conflict got bigger as more people joined like Benvolio and Prince.
In scene two, there was a party and Paris wanted prince to marry to Juliet (Capulet family). They asked their servant to make an invitation but he cannot read. Romeo saw Rosaline's name and decided to go there.
